Ingredients

1 lb ground chicken

1/2 cup breadcrumbs (preferably Italian seasoned)

1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese

1/2 cup shredded mozzarella cheese

1/4 cup fresh parsley, chopped

1 egg, beaten

1 teaspoon garlic powder

1 teaspoon onion powder

1 teaspoon Italian seasoning

Salt and pepper to taste

1 cup marinara sauce (for dipping)

Olive oil spray

Instructions

Preheat the Air Fryer: Preheat your air fryer to 375°F (190°C) for about 5 minutes.

Mix Ingredients: In a large mixing bowl, combine ground chicken, breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese, mozzarella cheese, parsley, beaten egg, garlic powder, onion powder, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper. Mix until thoroughly combined.

Form Poppers: Using your hands, scoop about 1 tablespoon of the meat mixture and form it into a small ball. Repeat until the entire mixture is used, placing the balls on a plate.

Prepare for Air Frying: Lightly spray the air fryer basket with olive oil spray to prevent sticking. Place the poppers in the basket in a single layer, ensuring they are not overcrowded (you may need to cook in batches).

Air Frying: Air fry the chicken parm poppers for 10-12 minutes, turning halfway through, until they are golden brown and cooked through. They should reach an internal temperature of 165°F (74°C).

Serve: Once done, remove the poppers from the air fryer and let them cool for a minute. Serve warm with marinara sauce on the side for dipping.

Garnish (Optional): For an extra touch, sprinkle some additional fresh parsley on top before serving.
