4 medium russet potatoes

3 tablespoons olive oil

1 teaspoon garlic powder

1 teaspoon onion powder

1 teaspoon smoked paprika

1/2 teaspoon black pepper

1 teaspoon salt

1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese

Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish, optional)

Instructions
 

Prepare the Potatoes:

    - Wash and scrub the russet potatoes to remove any dirt. Cut each potato into wedges, about 6-8 wedges per potato, depending on size.

      Soak the Wedges:

        - Place the potato wedges in a large bowl of cold water and soak for at least 30 minutes. This step helps to remove excess starch, resulting in crispier wedges.

          Season the Potatoes:

            - Drain and rinse the potato wedges thoroughly. Pat them dry with paper towels to remove excess moisture.

              - In a large mixing bowl, combine 3 tablespoons of olive oil with garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, black pepper, and salt. Add the potato wedges and toss until evenly coated.

                Add Parmesan Cheese:

                  - Sprinkle the grated Parmesan cheese over the seasoned potato wedges and toss again to ensure the cheese adheres to the wedges.

                    Preheat the Air Fryer:

                      - Preheat your air fryer to 400°F (200°C) for about 5 minutes.

                        Cook the Potato Wedges:

                          - Arrange the potato wedges in a single layer in the air fryer basket, making sure they do not overlap. You may need to do this in batches depending on your air fryer size.

                            - Cook at 400°F (200°C) for 15-20 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through to ensure even cooking, until the wedges are golden brown and crispy.
