Ingredients

1 cup pizza dough (store-bought or homemade)

½ cup pizza sauce

1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese

½ cup finely chopped bell peppers (any color)

½ cup finely chopped mushrooms

¼ cup finely chopped spinach

¼ cup sliced black olives (optional)

1 teaspoon Italian seasoning

½ teaspoon garlic powder

Cooking spray or olive oil

Instructions

Preheat the Air Fryer: Preheat your air fryer to 375°F (190°C) for about 5 minutes.

Prepare the Veggies: Wash and finely chop the bell peppers, mushrooms, spinach, and olives (if using). Mix these veggies in a bowl along with the Italian seasoning and garlic powder.

Roll Out the Dough: On a lightly floured surface, roll out the pizza dough to about ¼ inch thickness. Using a round cookie cutter or a glass, cut out circles of dough (about 2-3 inches in diameter).

Assemble the Bites: For each dough circle, place a teaspoon of pizza sauce in the center. Top with a generous sprinkle of shredded mozzarella cheese and add a spoonful of the chopped veggie mix. Be careful not to overfill!

Seal the Bites: Fold the dough circle over to create a half-moon shape. Use a fork to press the edges together, sealing in the fillings.

Spray and Arrange: Lightly spray the air fryer basket with cooking spray or brush with olive oil. Place the veggie pizza bites in a single layer in the basket, leaving space between each bite for air circulation.

Cooking: Air fry the pizza bites at 375°F (190°C) for 8-10 minutes or until they are golden brown and the dough is cooked through. You might need to cook them in batches depending on the size of your air fryer.

Serve: Once done, remove the pizza bites from the air fryer and let them cool for a few minutes. Serve with extra pizza sauce for dipping.
