Ingredients

2 lbs chicken drumsticks

1/3 cup Dijon mustard

1/4 cup honey

2 tablespoons olive oil

1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar

1 teaspoon garlic powder

1 teaspoon onion powder

1 teaspoon smoked paprika

1 teaspoon black pepper

1 teaspoon sea salt

Fresh herbs for garnish (optional, such as parsley or thyme)

Instructions

Preheat the Oven: Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C) and line a baking sheet with aluminum foil or parchment paper for easy cleanup.

Prepare the Marinade: In a medium bowl, whisk together Dijon mustard, honey, olive oil, apple cider vinegar, garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, black pepper, and sea salt until well combined.

Marinate the Drumsticks: Place the chicken drumsticks in a large mixing bowl or resealable plastic bag. Pour the marinade over the drumsticks, ensuring they are well coated. Let them marinate in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes (or up to 8 hours for maximum flavor).

Arrange Drumsticks: After marinating, remove the drumsticks from the marinade (reserving the marinade for later). Arrange them on the prepared baking sheet, leaving space between each piece for even cooking.

Bake the Drumsticks: Bake in the preheated oven for 25 minutes. After 25 minutes, remove the drumsticks and brush them generously with the reserved marinade.

Broil for Crispiness: Switch your oven to broil (high setting). Broil the drumsticks for an additional 5-7 minutes, or until they are golden brown and crispy, ensuring to watch closely to prevent burning.

Serve: Once done, remove the drumsticks from the oven and let them rest for a few minutes. Garnish with freshly chopped herbs if desired.

Enjoy: Serve the drumsticks warm with your favorite sides, such as roasted vegetables or a fresh salad.
