Instructions

Prepare the Blueberry Glaze:

    - In a small saucepan, combine blueberries, water, honey (or maple syrup), and apple cider vinegar.

      - Bring to a simmer over medium heat, stirring occasionally until the blueberries break down, about 5-7 minutes.

        - Stir in the cornstarch mixture, and continue to cook for an additional 2-3 minutes until the glaze thickens. Remove from heat and set aside.

          Cook the Beef Filling:

            - In a large skillet, heat vegetable oil over medium-high heat.

              - Add minced garlic and ginger, and sauté for about 30 seconds until fragrant.

                - Add the ground beef and cook until browned, breaking it apart with a spatula, about 5-7 minutes.

                  - Stir in soy sauce, hoisin sauce, sesame oil, red pepper flakes (if using), and season with salt and pepper to taste.

                    - Cook for an additional 2-3 minutes, allowing flavors to meld. Remove from heat.

                      Assemble the Wraps:

                        - Lay out the separated lettuce leaves like boats on a serving platter.

                          - Spoon a generous amount of the beef filling into each lettuce leaf.

                            - Drizzle with blueberry glaze and garnish with chopped green onions, cilantro, avocado slices, and nuts if desired.

                              Serve:

                                - Enjoy the lettuce wraps immediately while the beef is warm and the glaze is fresh!
