Ingredients

1 can (8 oz) refrigerated crescent roll dough

1 cup canned chili (with or without beans, your choice)

1 cup shredded cheddar cheese

1/2 cup diced bell pepper (any color)

1/4 cup diced onion

1 teaspoon garlic powder

1 teaspoon chili powder

1/2 teaspoon cumin

1/4 teaspoon salt

1/4 teaspoon black pepper

Optional: jalapeño slices for extra heat

Cooking spray or oil for greasing the baking sheet

Fresh cilantro or green onions for garnish (optional)

Instructions

Preheat the Oven: Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or lightly grease with cooking spray.

Prepare the Filling: In a medium mixing bowl, combine the canned chili, shredded cheddar cheese, diced bell pepper, diced onion, garlic powder, chili powder, cumin, salt, and black pepper. Mix until well combined.

Roll Out the Dough: On a clean, flat surface, unroll the crescent roll dough. Separate the dough into triangles as indicated on the package.

Stuff the Rolls: For each triangle, place about 2 tablespoons of the chili filling at the wider end of the triangle. If you like heat, add a couple of jalapeño slices on top of the filling. Roll the dough tightly around the filling, starting from the wide end towards the point.

Shape and Place: Shape the rolls slightly by tucking the ends under or forming them into a crescent shape. Place them on the prepared baking sheet, leaving some space between each roll.

Bake:Bake in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes, or until the crescent rolls are golden brown and puffed.

Serve: Remove from the oven and let them cool for a couple of minutes. Garnish with chopped cilantro or green onions, if desired. Serve warm with a side of sour cream, salsa, or extra chili for dipping.

Prep Time: 15 minutes | Total Time: 30 minutes | Servings: 8 rolls
