8 ounces rotini pasta

1 cup cherry tomatoes, halved

1 cup cucumber, diced

1/2 cup red bell pepper, diced

1/2 cup green onions, sliced

1/4 cup shredded carrots

1 cup cooked chicken, diced (optional)

1 cup mayonnaise

1/2 cup buttermilk

2 tablespoons ranch dressing mix

1 tablespoon fresh dill, chopped (or 1 teaspoon dried)

Salt and pepper to taste

1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese (optional)

Instructions
 

Cook the Pasta: In a large pot of salted boiling water, cook the rotini pasta according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and rinse under cold water to stop the cooking process. Set aside.

    Prepare the Vegetables: In a large bowl, combine the cherry tomatoes, cucumber, red bell pepper, green onions, and shredded carrots. If using, add the cooked chicken to the bowl.

      Make the Dressing: In a separate mixing bowl, whisk together the mayonnaise, buttermilk, ranch dressing mix, fresh dill, salt, and pepper until smooth and well-combined. Taste and adjust seasoning as desired.

        Combine Ingredients: In the bowl with the vegetables (and chicken, if using), add the cooled pasta. Pour the dressing over the mixture and toss gently until everything is evenly coated.
