1 pound fresh green beans, trimmed

1 cup panko breadcrumbs

½ cup all-purpose flour

2 large eggs

1 teaspoon garlic powder

1 teaspoon onion powder

½ teaspoon paprika

½ teaspoon salt

¼ teaspoon black pepper

¼ teaspoon cayenne pepper (optional for spice)

Cooking spray or olive oil for spraying

Prepare Green Beans: Rinse and trim the ends of the green beans, ensuring they are all about the same length for even cooking.

    Setup Breading Station: In three separate shallow dishes, add flour in the first dish, whisk the eggs in the second dish, and combine panko breadcrumbs, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt, black pepper, and cayenne pepper in the third dish.

      Bread the Green Beans:

        - Roll a green bean in the flour, ensuring it’s coated completely. Shake off any excess flour.

          - Dip the floured green bean into the whisked eggs, allowing any excess to drip off.

            - Roll the green bean in the panko breadcrumb mixture, pressing gently to ensure the crumbs adhere. Repeat for all green beans.

              Preheat Air Fryer: Preheat the air fryer to 400°F (200°C) for about 5 minutes.

                Air Fry the Green Bean Fries:

                  - Lightly spray the air fryer basket with cooking spray or olive oil.

                    - Place the breaded green beans in a single layer in the basket. Avoid overcrowding to ensure they cook evenly. You may need to do this in batches.

                      - Spray the tops of the green beans lightly with cooking spray or olive oil.

                        Cooking: Air fry the green bean fries for 10-12 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through to ensure even cooking, until they are golden brown and crispy.
