2 cups fresh broccoli florets

1 cup shredded sharp cheddar cheese

1/2 cup breadcrumbs (panko for extra crunch)

1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese

1 large egg

1 garlic clove, minced

1 teaspoon onion powder

1/2 teaspoon smoked paprika

Salt and pepper, to taste

Olive oil spray (or any cooking spray)

Prepare the Broccoli: Start by washing the broccoli florets thoroughly. Cut them into small bite-sized pieces if they are large to ensure they cook evenly.

    Blanch the Broccoli: In a pot of boiling water, briefly blanch the broccoli florets for 2 minutes. This helps them stay vibrant and tender. After two minutes, immediately transfer them to an ice bath to halt the cooking process. Drain and pat them dry with a clean towel.

      Make the Cheese Mixture: In a mixing bowl, combine the shredded cheddar cheese, grated Parmesan cheese, breadcrumbs, minced garlic, onion powder, smoked paprika, and the egg. Add salt and pepper to taste. Mix well to create a cheesy, sticky mixture.

        Combine: Add the blanched broccoli florets to the cheese mixture. Gently fold to coat the broccoli evenly with the cheesy mixture.

          Preheat Air Fryer: Preheat your air fryer to 400°F (200°C) for about 5 minutes.
