Ingredients

2 medium sweet potatoes

2 tablespoons olive oil

1 tablespoon Cajun seasoning (store-bought or homemade)

1 teaspoon garlic powder

½ teaspoon smoked paprika

½ teaspoon salt

¼ teaspoon black pepper

Optional: Fresh parsley for garnish

Instructions

Preheat the Oven: Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C) and line a large baking sheet with parchment paper for easy cleanup.

Prepare the Sweet Potatoes: Wash and peel the sweet potatoes. Cut them into fries, about ¼ inch thick. Try to keep them uniform so they cook evenly.

Season the Fries: In a large bowl, combine the cut sweet potatoes, olive oil, Cajun seasoning, garlic powder, smoked paprika, salt, and black pepper. Toss until all fries are evenly coated with the seasoning and oil.

Arrange on Baking Sheet: Spread the seasoned sweet potato fries out in a single layer on the prepared baking sheet. Make sure they are not overcrowded for optimal crispiness.

Bake: Bake in the preheated oven for about 25-30 minutes. Halfway through the baking time, flip the fries to ensure they crisp up evenly on both sides.

Check for Doneness: Fries are ready once they are crisp around the edges and tender inside. You may give them an extra few minutes if you like them extra crispy.

Garnish and Serve: Remove from the oven, and if desired, sprinkle with fresh parsley. Serve immediately with your favorite dipping sauce, such as a spicy mayo or classic ketchup.
