Ingredients

For the Meatballs:

1 lb ground beef or turkey

1/2 cup breadcrumbs

1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese

1/4 cup minced parsley

1 large egg

1 clove garlic, minced

1 tsp onion powder

1 tsp Italian seasoning

Salt and pepper to taste

For the Spaghetti:

8 oz spaghetti pasta

2 cups marinara sauce (store-bought or homemade)

1/2 cup shredded mozzarella cheese

Fresh basil (optional, for garnish)

Instructions

Prepare the Meatballs: In a large bowl, combine ground beef (or turkey), breadcrumbs, grated Parmesan cheese, minced parsley, egg, minced garlic, onion powder, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper. Mix until well combined, but do not overwork the meat.

Form the Meatballs: Using your hands, form the mixture into meatballs about 1 inch in diameter. You should yield about 16 meatballs.

Preheat the Air Fryer: Preheat your air fryer to 400°F (200°C) for about 5 minutes.

Air Fry the Meatballs: Place the meatballs in the air fryer basket in a single layer (cooking in batches if necessary). Cook for about 10-12 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through, or until they are golden brown and cooked through (internal temperature of 165°F or 74°C).

Cook the Spaghetti: While the meatballs are cooking, bring a pot of salted water to a boil. Add the spaghetti and cook according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.

Heat the Marinara Sauce: In a saucepan over medium heat, warm the marinara sauce until it begins to simmer.

Combine: Once the meatballs are done, add them to the warmed marinara sauce, and gently stir to coat the meatballs.

Serve: On a plate, layer the spaghetti, spoon the meatballs and marinara sauce over the top, and sprinkle with shredded mozzarella cheese. If desired, garnish with fresh basil.

Enjoy! Serve warm and enjoy a family-friendly meal that everyone will love!
