Ingredients

2 cups milk (whole or oat milk for a dairy-free version)

1 cup granulated sugar

1 cup plain yogurt (Greek or regular)

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

2 cups of your choice of cereal (Cornflakes, Fruity Pebbles, or any preferred variety)

Pinch of salt

Instructions

Make the Cereal Milk: In a large mixing bowl, combine the milk and sugar, whisking until the sugar is fully dissolved. Add a pinch of salt to enhance flavor.

Infuse the Flavor: Stir in your chosen cereal, ensuring it's completely submerged in the milk mixture. Let it sit for 20 minutes, allowing the flavors to infuse.

Strain the Mixture: After the cereal has steeped, strain the milk through a fine mesh sieve or cheesecloth into a clean bowl, pressing down on the cereal gently to extract as much liquid as possible. Discard the soggy cereal.

Combine with Yogurt: In another bowl, mix the cereal-infused milk with the yogurt and vanilla extract, stirring until smooth and creamy.

Pour into Molds: Transfer the mixture into silicone molds or ice cube trays, filling each compartment about 3/4 full. This will allow for expansion as they freeze.

Freeze: Place the molds in the freezer and freeze for at least 4 hours or until completely solid.

Serve: Once fully frozen, pop the discs out of the molds. Serve them as is for a refreshing snack, or use them as a fun topping for breakfast bowls, smoothies, or parfaits.
