Ingredients

1 ½ cups pretzel sticks

½ cup unsalted butter, melted

⅓ cup brown sugar

1 cup cream cheese, softened

2 cups plain Greek yogurt

½ cup granulated sugar

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

1 ½ cups fresh strawberries, hulled and diced

¼ cup mini chocolate chips (optional)

Sea salt for garnish

Instructions

Preheat the Oven: Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).

Prepare the Pretzel Base: In a mixing bowl, crush the pretzel sticks into small pieces, but not too fine. Stir in the melted butter and brown sugar until all pretzel pieces are well-coated.

Form the Base: Line a baking sheet with parchment paper. Spread the pretzel mixture evenly across the baking sheet, pressing it down firmly to create a solid base. Bake in the preheated oven for about 8-10 minutes until golden brown. Once done, remove it from the oven and allow it to cool completely.

Make the Yogurt Filling: In a separate large bowl, combine the softened cream cheese, Greek yogurt, granulated sugar, and vanilla extract. Use a hand mixer or whisk to blend until smooth and creamy.

Incorporate the Strawberries: Fold the diced strawberries gently into the yogurt mixture. If desired, you can also fold in mini chocolate chips for added sweetness and texture.

Assemble the Bites: Once the pretzel base has cooled, cut it into bite-sized squares or bars. Spoon the yogurt and strawberry filling over each pretzel square, creating a layered effect.

Freeze: Place the assembled bites in the freezer for at least 3-4 hours, or until the yogurt is fully set.

Serve: Once frozen, pop the bites out of the pan and sprinkle a pinch of sea salt on top of each bite for that sweet-and-salty flavor combination. Enjoy your Strawberry Pretzel Bliss Bites straight from the freezer!
