Ingredients

1 lb ground beef (or turkey for a lighter option)

1/2 cup breadcrumbs

1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese

1/4 cup fresh parsley, chopped

1 large egg

3 cloves garlic, minced

1 tsp onion powder

1 tsp salt

1/2 tsp black pepper

1/4 cup honey

3 tbsp Sriracha sauce (adjust based on spice preference)

2 tbsp soy sauce

1 tbsp rice vinegar

1 tsp sesame oil

Sesame seeds and green onions for garnish

Instructions

Preheat the Oven: Begin by preheating your oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper for easy cleanup later.

Make the Meatball Mixture: In a large mixing bowl, combine the ground beef, breadcrumbs, grated Parmesan, chopped parsley, egg, minced garlic, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Mix it all together using your hands or a spatula until just combined, being careful not to overmix.

Form the Meatballs: With your hands, roll the mixture into meatballs approximately 1 inch in diameter and place them on the prepared baking sheet, leaving space between each meatball.

Bake the Meatballs: Place the baking sheet in the preheated oven and bake for 15-20 minutes, or until the meatballs are cooked through and have a nice golden-brown color.

Prepare the Glaze: While the meatballs are baking, whisk together the honey, Sriracha sauce, soy sauce, rice vinegar, and sesame oil in a small bowl. Taste and adjust the sweetness or spiciness as desired.

Glaze the Meatballs: Once the meatballs are cooked, remove them from the oven and transfer them to a large skillet over medium heat. Pour the honey Sriracha glaze over the meatballs and gently toss to coat evenly. Cook them together for an additional 2-3 minutes to allow the glaze to thicken slightly and stick to the meatballs.

Serve and Garnish: Once nicely glazed, remove from heat. Serve the honey Sriracha meatballs warm, garnished with sesame seeds and chopped green onions.
