2 tablespoons olive oil

1 teaspoon smoked paprika

1 teaspoon garlic powder

1 teaspoon ground cumin

Salt and pepper to taste

Juice of 1 lime

For the Lime Slaw:

2 cups green cabbage, shredded

1 cup red cabbage, shredded

1 large carrot, grated

1/4 cup fresh cilantro, chopped

Juice of 2 limes

2 tablespoons mayonnaise (or Greek yogurt for a healthier version)

1 tablespoon honey

Salt and pepper to taste

For Assembly:

8 small corn or flour tortillas

Sliced avocado (optional)

Lime wedges for serving

Hot sauce (optional, for a kick)

Instructions

Prepare the Salmon:

    - In a bowl, mix olive oil, smoked paprika, garlic powder, ground cumin, salt, pepper, and lime juice.

      - Place the salmon fillet in the marinade and coat it well. Let it marinate for at least 15-20 minutes while you prepare the slaw.

        Make the Lime Slaw:

          - In a large mixing bowl, combine the shredded green cabbage, red cabbage, grated carrot, and chopped cilantro.

            - In a small bowl, whisk together lime juice, mayonnaise (or Greek yogurt), honey, salt, and pepper.

              - Pour the dressing over the cabbage mixture and toss until everything is well coated. Set aside.

                Cook the Salmon:

                  - Preheat your grill or skillet over medium-high heat.

                    - Remove the salmon from the marinade and place it directly on the grill or skillet. Cook for about 4-5 minutes per side, or until the salmon flakes easily with a fork. Adjust the cooking time based on the thickness of your fillet.

                      - Once cooked, remove from heat and let cool for a minute, then flake the salmon into bite-sized pieces.

                        Warm the Tortillas:

                          - In a dry skillet over low heat, warm the tortillas one at a time for about 30 seconds on each side until they are pliable.

                            Assemble the Tacos:

                              - Place a generous amount of the flaked salmon onto each tortilla.

                                - Top with a handful of lime slaw and sliced avocado if desired.

                                  - Add a squeeze of lime and a dash of hot sauce for extra flavor.

                                    Serve:

                                      - Arrange the tacos on a serving platter with lime wedges on the side. Enjoy your delicious and refreshing salmon tacos!
