1 lb ground turkey

1/2 cup breadcrumbs (preferably whole wheat)

1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese

1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley

1 large egg

2 cloves garlic, minced

1 teaspoon dried oregano

1 teaspoon salt

1/2 teaspoon black pepper

1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)

For the Spaghetti:

8 oz spaghetti (whole wheat or regular)

2 cups marinara sauce (homemade or store-bought)

1 tablespoon olive oil

Salt, to taste

Fresh basil leaves, for garnish (optional)

Extra Parmesan cheese, for serving (optional)

Instructions

Pre-heat the Air Fryer: Preheat your air fryer to 400°F (200°C) for about 5 minutes.

Prepare the Meatball Mixture: In a large mixing bowl, combine ground turkey, breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese, parsley, egg, minced garlic, oregano, salt, black pepper, and red pepper flakes. Mix until well incorporated, but do not overwork the mixture.

Form the Meatballs: Using your hands, shape the mixture into meatballs about 1.5 inches in diameter. You should get approximately 20 meatballs.

Cook the Meatballs: Lightly spray the air fryer basket with cooking spray. Place the meatballs in a single layer in the basket, making sure they’re not touching. Air fry for 12-15 minutes, or until the meatballs are golden brown and cooked through, flipping halfway for even cooking.

Cook the Spaghetti: While the meatballs are cooking, prepare the spaghetti. In a large pot, bring salted water to a boil. Add spaghetti and cook according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.

Heat the Marinara Sauce: In a small saucepan, heat the marinara sauce over medium heat. Add olive oil and seasoning, if desired. Simmer for about 5 minutes until heated through.

Combine Everything: Toss the cooked spaghetti with the heated marinara sauce until well coated.

Serve: Plate the spaghetti and top with the air fryer turkey meatballs. Garnish with fresh basil leaves and extra Parmesan cheese if desired.

Enjoy Your Meal: Serve warm and enjoy the amazing flavors of your savory air fryer turkey meatballs with spaghetti!
