Ingredients

1 pound ground beef (or ground turkey for a lighter option)

1/2 cup breadcrumbs (preferably panko for extra crispiness)

1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese

1 large egg

2 cloves garlic, minced

1 teaspoon onion powder

1 teaspoon salt

1/2 teaspoon black pepper

1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes (adjust for spice preference)

1/4 cup honey

3 tablespoons Sriracha sauce (adjust for spice preference)

1 tablespoon soy sauce

1 tablespoon rice vinegar

1 tablespoon sesame oil

Sesame seeds and chopped green onions for garnish

Instructions

Preheat the Oven:

Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper for easy cleanup.

      Prepare the Meatball Mixture:

In a large mixing bowl, combine the ground beef (or turkey), breadcrumbs, grated Parmesan cheese, egg, minced garlic, onion powder, salt, black pepper, and red pepper flakes. Mix thoroughly until all ingredients are evenly combined.

          Form the Meatballs:

Using your hands, form the mixture into meatballs about 1 to 1.5 inches in diameter. Place them on the prepared baking sheet, ensuring they are spaced apart for even cooking.

              Bake the Meatballs:

Bake the meatballs in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, or until they are cooked through and lightly browned.

                  Prepare the Glaze:

While the meatballs are baking, prepare the spicy honey glaze. In a small saucepan over medium heat, combine honey, Sriracha, soy sauce, rice vinegar, and sesame oil. Whisk gently until warmed and well mixed. Reduce heat and let simmer for 3-5 minutes to thicken slightly.

                      Coat the Meatballs:

Once the meatballs are cooked, remove them from the oven and place them in a large bowl. Pour the spicy honey glaze over the meatballs and toss gently until they are evenly coated.

                          Serve and Garnish:

Transfer the glazed meatballs to a serving platter. Garnish with sesame seeds and chopped green onions. Serve immediately as an appetizer or over a bed of rice or noodles for a delicious main course.
