Ingredients

1 pound Brussels sprouts, trimmed and halved

6 slices of thick-cut bacon, chopped into small pieces

2 tablespoons olive oil

1 teaspoon garlic powder

1 teaspoon smoked paprika

Salt and black pepper, to taste

2 tablespoons balsamic vinegar (optional)

Fresh parsley, chopped for garnish (optional)

Instructions

Preheat the Air Fryer: Set your air fryer to 375°F (190°C) and allow it to preheat for about 5 minutes.

Prepare Brussels Sprouts: In a large bowl, combine the halved Brussels sprouts and chopped bacon. Drizzle with olive oil, then sprinkle with garlic powder, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper. Toss everything together until the Brussels sprouts are well-coated.

Air Frying: Transfer the mixture to the air fryer basket. Spread out the Brussels sprouts and bacon in an even layer for optimal crispiness. Cook for 15-18 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through to ensure even cooking. The Brussels sprouts should be crispy and tender, and the bacon should be browned.

Glaze (Optional): If desired, drizzle balsamic vinegar over the cooked Brussels sprouts and bacon right after removing them from the air fryer, and toss gently to combine.

Serve: Transfer the Brussels sprouts and bacon to a serving dish. Garnish with freshly chopped parsley for a pop of color and flavor. Enjoy while hot!
